Okay the listings in our WPR3x plugin are easily indexed with our solution - I can show you several of our clients sites that have minimum 20k+ pages indexed (listings).

As to why someone ranks on page one has to do more with general SEO than anything else - and so - that is an entirely different subject, and to know why one spent so much more money than the other to get to the top of page one is typically because one paid for someone to do all of the SEO work for them and the other person did all the SEO work themselves.

I used to do SEO for a living but found that its a hard business to be in when you only can do x amount of clients and when 30%+ can't pay you on time then it means you can't pay your own bills on time either. I used to only take max 10 to 12 clients, but I had months when nearly half of them couldn't pay that month - or they would go broke and cancel early - like I said, its a hard business to be in but if your doing it for yourself it can be very rewarding.

Now as to Austin MLS - I actually just spoke with Kay over at the BOR last Friday (I'm a vendor there) and I can tell you that our solution works just fine with the Austin RETS.

Best Regards.

I'm looking at two websites here in Austin that get the best local #1 position on Google. Based on research of a number of WP developers, I'm leaning in your direction. But, it seems to me one of the reasons these other two sites are getting such good Google position is that they have a an individual page for every single listing in the MLS. I presume they do a daily pull from IDX and their developer created the code to create these sites. Obviously, I'd like to duplicate, or better, their Google position. Realty Austin spent a great deal of money to get this position, but Team Price did not (spending 1/10th what Realty Austin did).

Thoughts on how you can achieve this?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

P.S. it does not seem to me that they do much more than regular blogs, and daily new content with all the MLS listing pages. But I'm a newbie.

Sure can - we already put in a lot of great new features and currently we are working on the default layout and testing it to make it's responsive sizes will layout properly when re sized to fit mobile/tablet formats.

I know we are past due on our release schedule but I promise it will be worth the wait!

Yeah? but their 3.x is encrypted and doesn't do anything "new" and nobody wants an encrypted version of open realty thus the reason several groups have forked the 2.x version.

It's my opinion Ryan has killed his own product and, as I have already posted, I predict his over all business will be cut in half again by the end of 2012 due to his dictatorship approach to business along with so many competitors like us that are building and releasing better unencrypted solutions that work hand in hand with the most popular CMS solutions like Wordpress and Joomla.

And on a final note*
We are considering releasing our 3.0 core as a gplv3 - and it will be just the core and nothing else.....meaning that if you want the good stuff you will have to pay for the commercial version.

Just posting some news about our new RETS import script - and yes our plugins work with all themes except thesis theme so your studio press theme is good to go.

Here is a link to our new WP RETS Plugin that works directly with our WP Realty to import listings into our data base.
http://wprealty.org/announcements/wp-rets-pre-sale-offer/
299.00 Offer is good for today only then the regular price will be 499.00 and once the 3.0 comes out the price will go up to 799.00

Hello, I am looking to integrate the MLS RETS feed into my wordpress site. Is your product independent (meaning would I also need Open-Realty to communicate with the RETS feed). Or, is your solution all I would need to fully integrate my MLS with my site?

Also, do you have a product which integrates with my current theme?

Let me know the cost involved. Thank you
