WP Realty Road Map
We have decided to announce today that we have 2 new roadmaps that we are pursuing.
1). We are currently rewriting the GNU/GPL version of Open-Realty 115b to be rewritten to include all of the current features of the Open-Realty2.x so that we can re-release it as our new GNU/GPL version of WPR 2.x – This will allow us to pursue offering this product as a free gnu gpl solution that will completely eliminate the need for anyone ever wanting to use the current free “but licensed and slower” version(s) of open-realty. This will be out in (eta) late December 2010. (maybe sooner)
2). We are also currently rewriting all of the current features of OR2.x, that you’ve come to expect, [ PLUS ] – include all of our main commercial add-ons written right into our WPR 3x core solution. WPR 3.0 – will then become our “commercially licensed” version once it is released and it will take the place of the currently licensed version that we have now. This will be out in (eta) late January 2010.
Both of these versions will be written using a normalized database structure for listings tables….as everyone knows this is the worst problem with the current open-realty is that when it gets into trying to make queries run faster their table structure was never designed right to begin with – so we are going to fix this to be (one listing = one row) ….like it should have been written in the first place.
WPR-TEAM

It is really scheduled for December 2010??? That isn´t a typo??
Are there any plans to give potential customers access to a demo version so we can explore the admin backend. I am especially interested in how the application will handle members/customer inquiries… for example leads management.
Kind regards, Mike
We are installing one with full MLS (via VieleRETS Demo) tools for you to examine. We have been cursed with an amazing amount of work to get things ready. A very lofty project.
