Working on a brand new WordPress Real Estate Theme called the “WPR3x Theme”

What I did was look around at what people were pushing out there even though some were “pretty” and some were “cool” there wasn’t a single one of them that meet all of our demanding requirements for building our newest WordPress Real Estate Themes.

So I set out to take from the best ideas out there and then got our programmers on to the task of making “the ultimate real estate theme”.

Here is what I came up with as a list of features and a reference of what we are using to build out the core project with.

• First we started with a html5/css3 960 responsive grid -  so this is what we used http://www.getskeleton.com/ and to learn more about the idea behind the idea – http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2011/09/the-ultimate-responsive-web-design-roundup/
• Then we needed a open source admin panel to build with so we went with http://upthemes.com/upthemes-framework/
• Next we needed lots of cool features so we rounded up over 100 shortcodes and built a shortcode generator for page/post.
• Next we added in the ability to upload skins (way better than stupid child themes).
• Last of all – we have been busy throwing in everything we can find to make this a super powerful Developers Theme so that this master theme should be all you ever need to satisfy the pickiest of clients.

We are still deciding on the master menu code but as soon as we have it in place we’ll make a kick butt default design and begin setting up the DEMO.
